Demolition has always been recognised as a hazardous occupation, it is our aim at Greater London Demolition to ensure that the associated risks are kept to an absolute minimum.
It is the policy of Greater London Demolition to give the Health, Safety and Welfare issues of our employees and all others who come into contact with our operations the highest priority.
As a minimum standard the Company will undertake works strictly in accordance with the provisions of current legislation and regulations. This will ensure that adequate protection is provided against the risk of accident, injury and unnecessary exposure to hazards and risks.
We undergo regular external site audits and we have achieved the standards required of CHAS since its inception. This audits Health and Safety as well as good environmental management practice.
Our exemplary health and safety record is supported by a carefully planned training scheme from operative level through to senior management.
Our senior staff hold the CCDO management qualifications and WAMITAB certificates whilst all operatives hold the CSCS certification.
Our training is arranged through the National Demolition Training Group (NDTG) This ensures that whatever the situation, we are able to quickly provide qualified directly employed staff to assist.
We recognise that our actions must not hinder or harm the people and environment that come into contact with our works.
Consequently we have received excellent feedback highlighting our success on site daily : –
